Our Volunteering & Internship Programs
Agni Raksha recognises each of the volunteers as a part of the core groups of development workers who participate in the development of the organization and its programs. We encourage all our Volunteers (both Nationally and Internally) from all walks of life to actively participate in all the activities of the Organization.
- Capacitate the Staff on English and computer language skills;
- Take part in offering counseling and guidance services, with assistance from experienced Staff;
- Assist in the Health Education and Clinical Screening Camps in the communities;
- Assist in collecting survey details of vulnerable individuals in the slums and of burn survivors;
- Visit local Government / Public Schools and interact with children on development activities of Agni Raksha;
- Take part in the Out Patient Consultation of burn survivors organized at Agni Raksha, by collecting case studies, doing group works, counseling, etc.;
- Assist the Livelihood Staff in activities such as tailoring, bakery product preparation, any such entrepreneurial activities etc.;
- Assist in data entry and data analysis and interpretation;
- Participate in the recreation activities of the children, such as accompanying them for trips and excursions;
- Assist the physiotherapist and the nurse in offering simple therapy related assistance and also dressing related support;
- Attend awareness and sensitization programs in various settings and learn the art of advocacy and assist in sharing some of the roles; and
- Assist in preparing topic related Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials.
